2 Minutes of 2010 AGM
- Read and approved by all.
3 Matters Arising
4 Chairman’s Report
- Last year was up and down, with season petering out because of weather.
- Quiz night was successful, raising £483. There was a good turnout from other clubs.
- Presentation night was well attended and the raffle raised £178.
- Main concern is the number of players turning out at the weekend and time and effort spent by Captains getting a team for the weekend.
- The ground is now secure and the pavilion has been done up, following the break in.
- The Boxgrove Sports Club have requested representation from the football and cricket club to discuss the ground, facilities etc. A small sub-committee needs to be formed to represent the BCC at the Sports Club meetings.
- The web site is very good, and we need to make more use of it.
5 Hon Secretary’s Report
- Membership list needs updating with all contact details.
- Letters sent to VPs during the season, keeping them informed of the clubs performances and requesting donations.
- Request for nominations for additional VPs.
- Pre season letter to be sent to all players reminding them of nets, providing contact details, membership money and letting captains know when players are not available.
6 Treasurer’s Report:
- Raffle and Quiz boosted income.
- Not a lot of money from VPs.
- Subs still an issue with some players.
- Balance of cost of mower to be paid to Rew - £1,300.00.
- Report read and agreed by all.
7 Fixture Secretary Report
- Fixture lists for 2011 season provided.
- First game (Curdridge) is Easter Sunday.
Wayne to try and re-arrange.
- Difficult to find new fixtures for Saturdays, as most clubs play league cricket.
- New fixtures – Hammonds Walleys.
- Not heard from Simmonds CC if they want to borrow the ground again.
- Tour weekend – 1st to 4th August 2010.
- Downland Cup – drawn Tangmere in 1st round.

Wayne to sort Goodwood evening game.
- Chairman’s game 4th September.

9 Match Fees / Annual Subscription:
- Match fees to remain at £5 (£2 for Juniors).

- Secretary to write to all players reminding then to pay subs, or match fees may increase for these players.
10 Ground and Square:
- No moss.
- Moles – Gordon and Jim to find someone to try to sort out.
- Need seed spreader – Gordon and Jim to sort out.
- Working party for pavilion – weekend before Easter.
11 Any Other Business:
- Nets – James to organise pre-season nets at GSM.
- Nets – Kevin to enquire about Eastergate nets for use during season.
