On what was a mixed day of rain,drizzle & then sunshine at boxgrove, again winning

the toss was going to be important. Foresters won the toss and asked boxgrove to bat.

The innings started well on what was difficult conditions to bat with James Thorpe opening

with Mark Holl. But the inevitable loss of a wicket gave Foresters all they needed and proceeded

to take wickets at regular intervals, with Gordon Bailey( 9 n.o ), James Thorpe ( 21 ) and

Kevin McGeough ( 23 ) only to provide some resistance. Posting a total of only 108 to chase

Foresters started as they had in the first half chasing down the total with only the loss of 2 wickets.

Paul Mant being the best with 1-29 and Tom Lightfoot 1-43.
